Senior
Environmental Project Manager
Kennedy/Jenks Consultants is seeking a dynamic
senior environmental project manager responsible
for providing leadership on environmental projects; interfacing
with other project managers, client service managers, regulators,
office and field staff, and subcontractors. Duties include management
and technical oversight of environmental staff performing site evaluation
and remedial design activities; and reviewing technical reports
prepared by staff. Applied knowledge of other appropriate environmental
disciplines is highly desired. This is an opportunity where the
right candidate will be able to make a significant contribution
to the regional office.
Job duties will
involve both field and office assignments; preparation of technical
and status reports; presentations to clients and/or governmental
regulators; project scheduling; and development of project cost
estimates. This position will involve participation in business
development activities.
Candidate must
have excellent understanding and working knowledge of environmental
consulting work. Familiarity with relevant current governmental
regulations in western states is required. The successful candidate
must also be able to prioritize several assignments at one time,
and be committed to delivering technically sound work products on
time and on budget. Qualified candidates must also have excellent
leadership and management skills, ability to mentor junior and mid-level
staff, good written/verbal communication skills, and the ability
to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
degree or higher in Environmental Science, Geology/Hydrogeology,
Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- At least10
years experience in a consulting practice
- OSHA 40-hour
HAZWOPER training.

Mid
to Senior-Level Geologist/Environmental Engineer

mid- to senior-level Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist.
This position
requires 5 to 10 years of experience conducting environmental investigation
and/remediation projects for public and private sector clients,
a Master’s degree in engineering or geology, Oregon R.G. and/or
P.E. or the ability to obtain within 6 months, and excellent technical
report writing and verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
include managing all aspects of complex environmental investigation,
remediation, and due-diligence projects, a significant level of
technical document writing, project scoping, budgeting, etc., and
expansion and development of our client base.
